I have also coached swim team for six years. One year at the Arizona Country Club with USS Coach Ron Gercke, and five years at the Phoenix Country Club with USS Coach Kevin Williams.
I've taken a little break to have babies and be a mom, but I'm excited to get back into teaching. (Since I can still teach on the side while being a MOM forever.)
So, this is what I'm doing:

Beginner classes:
2 week session 10th-21st (mon-fri)
10:15-11:00 & 11:15-12:00
Cost:$100
Refresher classes:
Two 1 week sessions 10th-14th & 17th-21st (mon-fri)
4:00-4:45
Cost:$50
June
Beginner classes:
2 week session 7th-18th
1:00-1:45
Cost:$100
(might do one more class upon demand)
Refresher classes:
Two 1 week sessions 7th-11th & 14th-18th
2:00-2:45
Cost:$50
All the classes are mon-fri for 45 minutes. I also am only doing four kids per class.

Hey everyone I, Barbara Johnson teach swim lessons.
I worked for the City of Scottsdale as a swim instructor and lifeguard, and I have instructed children and adults for many years. I am also a certified CPR Instructor for Scottsdale Healthcare. I do not have my own pool but I will travel. I usually teach private lessons 1 to 2 kids/class. I can make exceptions if you would like to include one or two more. I usually base the amount of lessons on the needs of the child and what the parents are interested in them learning. The classes are 30-45 min and cost $15.00 per class for one child or $10.00 a class for two. And if their are 3-4 in the class then I will charge $7-$8 per lesson. The more children in the class the cheaper the rate. So the final cost for 5 days of 3-4 kids is $35-$40.00. If anyone there is anyone who needs their kids to learn to swim and are short on cash due to the economy then we can work something out confidentially.
I can teach anytime so give me a call and we can work it out.
