The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be hosting a Community Preparedness Fair and Coat Drive on Saturday November 19, 2011, 9am – 2 pm. The fair will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Moon Valley Ward building located at 11650 North 35th Avenue, Phoenix. The fair and coat drive will benefit the community and Central Arizona Shelter Services.
This event is FREE, open to the public and will include emergency preparedness information, ideas, and demonstrations.
There will be 6 different 45 min classes. Informational classes will be held every hour between 10 am and 1 pm.
Classes will include Dutch Oven cooking, Budgeting and Financial Preparedness, Arizona Gardening, Preparing for Better Employment, Canning, and Indoor Hydroponic Gardening.
